Recipe Tips
If you prefer using the air fryer like I do, then you will definitely love this easy dinner! Air fryer sausage and potatoes is a flavorful meal that’s so simple and comforting, and these helpful tips will make sure it turns out a success every time!
- Preheat Your Air Fryer: To get the crispiest results, I recommend letting your air fryer preheat before you cook. If it doesn’t have a preheat setting, just let it come to temperature for a few minutes before you start cooking.
- Potato Sizes: Ensure potatoes are cut into even-sized wedges to promote uniform cooking.
- Sausage Selection: Experiment with different types of sausages to adjust the flavor according to your preference.
- Flavor: Allow the seasoned potatoes and vegetables to sit for a few minutes before cooking to absorb the flavors more effectively.
- Experiment with Spices: Feel free to tweak the spice mix to cater to your individual tastes or try out new flavor combinations.
- Shake the Basket: Remember to shake the basket from time to time during the cooking process, for even cooking and the best results.

Can I use raw Italian sausage?
Yes, you can, but since they are raw, you’ll want to pierce the sausages a few times and cook them with the potatoes.
